Optimized Sigma-Delta Modulated Current Measurement for Motor Control (Part 2)

The synchronization schemes for motor control applications can be difficult to configure the system properly. In this document, a new sinc filter structure optimized for the synchronization is proposed. The implementation of sinc filter improves the measurement performance in timing domain for feedback motion control application. The document will conclude with the implementation of the filters for FPGA using HDL code, and an example on an FPGA-based 3-phase servo drive.
