Learn how serial NAND Flash memories can displace expensive high density SPI NOR types

New emerging applications need robust 512Mb~2Gb Flash memories for storing boot code and large application code. But NOR Flash starts getting very expensive after 256Mb density, and therefore system architects must consider alternatives. Winbond Serial NAND at 46nm technology offer quality comparable to NOR Flash, much lower cost due to inherent small cell size of NAND, and fast write thru-put which is key to SW update OTA. So if you have need for 512Mb and higher density SPI NOR, you should attend this webinar!

In this Webinar

  • We will compare Serial NAND to SPI NOR, and demonstrate that Quality and read thru-put is comparable, while Serial NAND offers great benefit with lower cost and fast write thru-put
  • We will show that Winbond Serial NAND provides managed solution, due to on-chip ECC and ability to store mapping information in on-chip LUT for BBM

Speaker

  • Anil Gupta, Senior Technical Executive, Winbond Electronics America.
